EMBRACING THE WISDOM FROM NATURE AS OUR GUIDE TO LIVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST
As we move closer towards Spring Equinox, I am exploring the theme of balance and what that looks like in nature as my guide to stay in balance in my life. Last week I was enjoying my garden as the sun was setting. It was so beautiful as I swung on my sons swing. I asked nature what balance looks like? As I sat on the swing looking up at the sunset a sigh escaped my lips and I said out loud “this is what balance feels like." Wow! Such wisdom from nature. I love the simple yet profound ways we can gain wisdom from nature as our guide. The simple ritual of witnessing the sunrise and sunset everyday is such a powerful way to embrace balance. The duality of light and dark, day and night helps me accept my own opposites which sometimes feel in conflict with one another. This time of year is all about ideas and for those who know me I am never short of them! As an airy Aquarian, springtime is playtime for me. Learning to live in balance with my inner monthly cycle in harmony with the seasons can be a challenge in the spring, when I am also in the spring of my monthly cycle. I am loving this energy to vision what I would like to manifest later in the summer. I am learning to stay in balance as I welcome in more earth which brings my airy side into balance. Activities that bring me back into balance and embody earth are physical things like regular Wild Woman Dancing, walking in nature and gardening. I find the repetitive actions of weeding also helps those spring like ideas emerge. As if I am metaphorically making space for new ideas to grow new shoots.
